Equivalent to One-Third the Size of a Real U.S. Aircraft Carrier, This “Made-in-Vietnam Aircraft Carrier” Represents a Remarkable Engineering Achievement

With a size equivalent to one-third of an actual U.S. aircraft carrier, the modern Delta high-grip anchoring winch system was designed and developed by engineers from Ecoship.

The vessel is equipped with a system of four anchoring piles, each with a length of 40 meters and a diameter of 1.7 meters, driven deep into the seabed using a 200-ton hydraulic pressing system.

The vessel is also integrated with advanced systems, including:

• Radar, navigation, and communication systems
• Modern ballast control systems
• A backup power supply system consisting of five generators, ensuring maximum safety and reliable operation under all conditions

The vessel is supported by escort/tug boats with capacities of 2,400 HP and 1,200 HP, respectively.

The anti-collision protection system still applies a traditional yet effective method — using large protective tires as fenders.
