Investment Objectives

The project aims to develop and operate a wind power plant utilizing wind energy for electricity generation and integration into the national power grid through a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Vietnam Electricity (EVN).

The project contributes to supplementing the national power supply, enhancing energy security, and promoting the use of clean energy for electricity generation in order to reduce environmental pollution.

In addition, the project integrates marine aquaculture, fisheries exploitation, and forest cultivation activities, contributing to local socio-economic development.

The project has a designed capacity of 50 MW, consisting of 13 wind turbine towers supplied by Vestas, Denmark, with each turbine having a capacity of 3.8 MW – 4.0 MW.

The project is equipped with a complete and synchronized infrastructure system, including the operation and management building, substation infrastructure, and associated technical facilities.

The Hoa Binh 2 Wind Power Plant Project is a key renewable energy development project in Bac Lieu Province, contributing to Vietnam’s strategy of developing clean power sources, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and promoting sustainable energy transition.
