Provincial Road 208
The Provincial Road 208 Project is a key transport infrastructure project of Cao Bang Province, contributing to the completion of the mountainous regional transport network, strengthening connectivity among districts, and promoting local socio-economic development.
Upon completion, the route has helped reduce travel time, facilitate trade activities, improve goods transportation, and enhance the quality of life for local communities.
The project includes the Phase 1 construction package, with the route passing through Dong Khe Town (Thach An District), Cach Linh and Trieu Au Communes (Phuc Hoa District), An Lac Commune and Thanh Nhat Town, Duc Quang Commune (Ha Lang District), and Chi Vien Commune (Trung Khanh District), Cao Bang Province.
The project was developed in accordance with Grade IV mountainous road standards, meeting requirements for safe, sustainable operation and adapting to the region’s unique mountainous terrain conditions.
With a total investment value of VND 672 billion, the project was successfully implemented and completed on schedule, contributing to improved regional connectivity, creating momentum for economic and tourism development, while strengthening national defense and security in the northern border region.
